| About Exhibition: |
The Libyan society is a very traditional and tightly-bonded one in which the
family represents the a small but highly-critical and immensely-significant
component in the whole community which is heavily reliant on its social
relations to keep it going and to preserve its legacy of traditions going back
to many generations.
One of the most respected characteristics of an individual, in this part of the
world, is generosity and looking after guests. Good hospitality is not just a
sign of success and well-being but it goes deeper than that. Only genuine people
who are deeply-rooted within the society are those who give hospitality any of
the importance it deserves at all.
